Description :  Language: Portuguese (english subtitles) Algarve’s western coast, 1943. In the midst of World War II, Portugal declares neutrality, but in the isolated village of Aljezur, reality is very different. German air raids on Allied ships near the coast spread fear among the population, still haunted by a past marked by witchcraft. Celeste, a young orphan from a heretic family, is accused of being the heir to the evil that caused so many past tragedies. Betrayed and exiled from the village, she sets out to uncover the truth about her parents’ deaths, her own identity, and seek revenge against those who condemned her. Meanwhile, the growing Nazi presence in the region hides dark secrets. It’s a story of mystery, superstition, and resistance to oppression, questioning the very malleable nature of truth
